WHAT’S ON MY MIND

I recently completed two interviews, reaching the final rounds for tier-one financial firms. The feedback I got was that although solid, my observability through leadership and 20 years of ITOps/SRE background weren't strong enough.

This has me wondering why leadership observability roles need to be so technical if your role is more strategic and delivery-based. I'm still pondering this and would love to hear your thoughts on it.

Happy observing!,
Al
